Our cognitive understanding and self-awareness are vital tools in your healing journey. You may already understand your trauma, recognize your triggers, and have clear insights into your past. Yet, when stored survival stress is held deep within the subcortical brain and body, logic alone isn't always enough to help your nervous system feel completely safe.
"Where you look affects how you feel." Brainspotting builds upon your cognitive strengths by using eye positions to identify and access neurophysiological "brainspots" where unprocessed trauma and emotion are stored. By combining your mental clarity with targeted visual focus and somatic regulation, we help your brain and body complete the healing process together.
Deep, concentrated trauma processing in focused 3 to 6-hour blocks. Intensives bypass months of incremental 50-minute appointments, giving your nervous system extended time and containment for uninterrupted healing.
Pairing subcortical brainspotting with real-time nervous system regulation :such as breath anchoring, pendulation, and therapeutic movement ensuring you remain safely within your window of tolerance throughout processing.
you don't have to choose between your current therapist and deep trauma relief. Brainspotting can be integrated seamlessly into your ongoing therapy as a short-term, supplemental boost to help move through specific plateaus or stubborn survival patterns.
Consistent 50-minute individual sessions designed to systematically identify, process, and release trauma, chronic anxiety, body distress, and performance blocks at a steady, manageable pace within your routine.

Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-body treatment method created by Dr. David Grand. It works on the premise that "where you look affects how you feel." By identifying a specific visual eye position (a "brainspot") corresponding to an internal physical or emotional sensation, we can locate and reprocess deeply held trauma stored in the subcortical brain.
A Brainspotting Intensive is an accelerated therapeutic model offered in concentrated half-day (approx. 3 hours) or multi-day formats. Instead of dividing therapy into 50-minute weekly sessions over several months, an intensive gives you extended, uninterrupted time to process complex trauma, break through severe plateaus, and achieve deep neurophysiological stabilization faster.
While both are evidence-based, neuro-somatic trauma treatments, EMDR relies on specific rapid eye movements and rigid protocol sets. Brainspotting uses a fixed eye position to maintain focus on a specific neural pathway, allowing for a more flexible, deeply somatic, and client-led processing experience.
Intensives are ideal for individuals who want dedicated, focused time for healing, those traveling from out of town, or clients who feel stuck in standard weekly therapy. Prior to booking an intensive, we conduct an initial discovery call to ensure your nervous system has adequate grounding resources and safety measures in place for extended processing.

Traditional talk therapy helps you reframe negative thoughts about your body, but somatic therapy helps your nervous system feel safe inside your body. By tracking physical sensations and gently processing underlying shame, somatic tools help you move from self-critique to embodied self-compassion.
